Lord Please Stay

Stay with me when the night won't let me sleep,
When my soul feels tired and broken and I'm falling to my knees.
Jesus, stay with me when my strength begins to leave,
If the world turns cold around me, Lord,
Please stay with me.
There were nights I felt forgotten,
Like heaven turned its face away.
Every prayer felt lost in silence,
Every tear too much to say,
But somewhere in the middle of it,
Like a light through all my fear,
I could feel You in the darkness, whispering,
"I am here," when the storm is all around me and I'm too weak to believe.
