Slower Than a Secret

If the morning finds us here,
Keep the dark around my shoulders.
Keep your mouth beside my ear.
No promises, no rescue, no reason to resist.
Just one beautiful second before almost becomes a kiss.
Come closer, slower than a secret.
Now I know you feel it too.
Every inch of air between us turns electric when you move.
Come closer, don't destroy the tension.
Leave one heartbeat in between.
