Missing

I step off the train, I'm walking down your street again,
Past your door, but you don't live there anymore.
It's years since you've been there,
Now you've disappeared somewhere like out of space.
You found some better place,
And I miss you like the deserts miss the rain.
And I miss you like the deserts miss the rain,
'Cause you'll be there,
You're always walking two steps ahead of everyone.
We walked behind while you'd run.
I look up at your house,
And I can almost hear you shout down to me,
Where I always used to dream.
I miss you like the deserts miss the rain,
