I Lost Control

I kept my head down low.
I was a child.
I was too young.
I was a child, left on my own.
I never spoke, I was never shown.
I slipped away.
I lost control.
I never wanted these walls around.
Everything feels like it's breaking down.
I never counted the ways to run.
Now it's coming back, it's all undone.
I saw them laughing out in the street.
